Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born the 16th of April, 1997 in Miami Florida. The girl is English half Spanish. Parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as an experienced model.
