Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu was born in the United States. She is an American actor, singer and voice actor. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actor, she is an example to many Asian actors who wish to become famous in Hollywood. Following a string of early appearances on popular TV shows, she gained fame after joining the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. Following that, she gave an an excellent performance in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. At the same time her role as an actress in the flops of the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. She then started voicing prominent characters from animated films such including Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which failed to have any impact. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring part in the show helped Liu establish herself as an established actor. Liu chooses her roles carefully to prevent being stereotyped in an industry where competition is fierce. Liu has accepted her Chinese roots but hasn't let it hinder her creative abilities.
