This was when Bolton's Fabrice Muamba, a player in the midfield with Bolton FC, suffered a cardiac arrest while playing on the pitch. That evening, Lowe was interviewed by each UK major media outlet. Lowe was the first female host in UK history of the FA Cup final, a live broadcast lasting six hours at Wembley Stadium. Lowe started her work as a anchor and reporter at Setanta Sports in 2007. She was the host of the groundbreaking Football Conference coverage. She also co-hosted Football Matters the Setanta's Premier League studio program.
