Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director writer, producer, and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, the child of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for performances as a kid as well as watching her mother at work. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She eventually shifting into Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at a Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna became a Jew in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured in CNN's top television couples list. They were also named in the 2013 edition of E! as the top couple on TV in 2013.
