Elizabeth Olsen

KimAmerican actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen was born on 16 February 1989 in Sherman Oaks in California. Olsen was raised in Sherman Oaks and began acting at the age of four. In 2011, Olsen was a star in Martha Marcy May Marlene, her first film appearance. The film was critically acclaimed for her performance and was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards. Silent House was her next film part. Olsen was nominated for an BAFTA Rising Star Award and she graduated from New York University two year later. Olsen received worldwide recognition due to her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise and was featured in the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), in addition to the mini-series WandaVision (2021). Her character in WandaVision was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and the Mystery Film Wind River (2017). She was the executive producer of and also starred in Sorry for Your Loss (2018-19), receiving a Critics' choice Television Award nomination.
